Heinrich Wölfflin Collected Works - Digital Edition

wölfflin

The critically annotated edition "Heinrich Wölfflin Gesammelte Werke" makes available the writings of the important art historian to researchers for the first time in their entirety and with a commentary. The writings are being published in both printed and digital form. Each work is indexed in a critical, annotated edition of the texts themselves, their preparatory material, and the visual material, contextualized by an introduction and accompanied by a document appendix.

Usage Options

The digital edition will be successively made available online and free of charge as an Open Access Publication. Part of the Open Access Publication is the embedding and edition-inherent linking of reference and contextual information, scholarly commentaries, and archival material, as well as the full-text searchability of all integrated texts. Networked image and text searches are also made possible. The sustainability of the edition is ensured by encoding in XML.
